This is a force we call The New Intelligence. YOUR ROLE You will be a key member of the IHS Markit E&PD team. Reporting into Head of Sales Southern Europe, you will drive growth of our flagship solution (Engineering Workbench SaaS & selected portfolio solution) and ensure best in class Customer Experience for our multi-industry market customers in Spain. Key responsibilities include: * A clear focus on the customer and the future and how we can improve their workflows and business * Understand and build relationships with key influencers (C-Suite) * Develop deep understanding of IHS Markit Engineering & Product Design’s Standards offering and the value it brings to our customers * Develop integrated and comprehensive market strategy & lead Actions Plans * Effective pipeline management by using Salesforce and our MEDDICC grader to enhance win rates and improve forecasting * Exceed quarterly and annual sales targets * Significant amount of face-to-face/virtual customer interaction * Prepare and communicate the solution value, pricing, proposals, negotiate contracts ABOUT YOU You are Business Transformer, and you enjoy making an impact toward, leading your area growth and enhance Customer Experience. Key Qualifications and Skills: * University degree (Bachelors or equivalent) minimum or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Minimum 10 years business-to-business direct consultative selling experience (Closing large and complex sales- SaaS). * Proven track record in achieving sales targets, acquiring new business, selling broad-based solutions * Proficiency in solution selling * Experience selling into discreet manufacturing / R&D / Engineering, Quality communities is ideal. * Execute on IHS Markit’s commercial motion: understand first, demonstrate second, sell last and qualify with MEDDICC throughout * Ability to work in virtual team, in the complex and fast-paced organization * Effective pipeline management by using Salesforce and our MEDDICC process to enhance win rates and improve forecasting * Language skills: French, English -must, Spanish -additionally * Proven negotiation, communication, customer service and presentation skills * Ability to interact with and sell to C-level executives with a Customer Experience mindset * Ability to work independently and be a self-starter; able to manage own day-to-day activities WHAT WE OFFER * Cash incentive plan * Thorough and accelerated onboarding plan to bring you up to speed and client ready * Flexible working hours to allow you to attend your family * Training support & Coach, MEDDIC Sales Process * Opportunity to work with world experts in the field of Engineering & Product Design * Strong client base and broad portfolio solution * Opportunity to join an expanding business addressing Digital transformation projects - Inclusion and diversity are critical to the success of IHS Markit, and we actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
