JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be part of the 32 bits microcontroller business unit and more
specifically of the SoC Design Implementation team. This team oversees
the chip synthesis, definition of the power domains isolations or
level-shifting rules, and the static time analysis.
The work includes planning, flow setup and debug, development of new
procedures, constraints definition, reports generation, data
collection and results analysis, quality reviews, teamwork.
This role will report to the local manager and is based in Nantes,
France.
As a Design Implementation Engineer apprentice, you will work with
team members located in Nantes, Chandler Arizona, Bangalore India, and
potentially interface with other corporate team members worldwide,
such as SoC design integration or verification teams, to help
improving or automating design tasks and fixing issues.
Your mission will be to contribute to new 32 bits microcontrollers
development.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* 3rd cycle technical education in electronics and embedded software
development
COMPETENCIES
* VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog
* Exposure to STA, Synthesis and Functional verification tools (DC,
PrimeTime, PrimePower, VCLP, Formality)
* Ability to implement power constraints using UPF/CPF constructs is
a plus
* Good scripting skills (TCL/Perl)
* Familiarity with RTL2GDS design concepts/flow
* Software collaborative tools (GIT, JIRA…)
* Microcontrollers knowledge (ARM architecture is appreciated) and
standard on-chip peripherals (Communication interfaces, Analog
interface, DMA...)
* C-code embedded development
* French / English speaking
