JOB DESCRIPTION: A vacancy for a Functional Design Responsible for HForce Weapon System definition and integration on Helicopter (m/f) has arisen within AIRBUS HELICOPTERS in Marignane. Within Airbus Helicopters Avionics Division, you will join the “combat & Survivability” department and will work in the HForce weapon system FDR (Functional Design Responsible) team. You will be involved in the design and integration of HForce in a lot of different Helicopters variants (militarised civilian helicopters). This will require a good knowledge of all Airbus Helicopters products: legacy and new helicopters. This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities. TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES Your main responsibilities will include: * Contribution to weapon system architecture set up, in accordance with customer requests (internal or external) and transverse requirements provided by overall system architects, * Detailed functional specification writing, in particular high level requirement (using doors), then functional and interface specification, using dedicated Tools (easynet designer, Gilda, ADBS), * Problem report management (using Mantis tool) and associative correction actions (specification update, interface update, software modifications,...), * Support to software test bench and integration bench phases. * Redaction of ground/flight test orders for ensuring system compliance to requirement specifications, * Support to qualification/certification activities. This role will involve few travels for business in worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. REQUIRED SKILLS: You will have the following skills and experience: * Educated to 5 years’ degree level (or equivalent) in Engineering * At least 3 years of experience, ideally as FDR would be a plus * Experience in the weapons domain would be a plus, as well * knowledge of weapon systems and complexity of integration on helicopter * Knowledge in bus protocols (Milbus 1553B, Arinc 429, etc) * Knowledge on aeronautic, and ideally of helicopter * Experience in high level requirement writing, usinf DOORS database, * Service-mindedness, problem-solving mindset, autonomous, team spirit * English : Negotiation level * French : Advanced level This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
