DISCOVER THE ROLE
Our new colleague will handle all legal and administrative matters of
client companies within the Global Entity Management team, maintaining
and developing relationships with domestic and foreign advisors,
banks, and shareholders taking into account the existing procedures of
TMF Group. With time, you will act as Director in our client
companies. The Senior Legal Officer will be a part of a dedicated
client team and will be supported for further growth inside the
company, reporting to the Legal Supervisor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist in incorporations, approval of the accounts, share
transfers, shareholders meetings, liquidation, and other paralegal
work of client companies in close cooperation with the client and
other relevant parties
* Appoint or dismiss directors, change of domicile of the company,
etc
* Take care of registration with the Commercial Court and other
registrations
* Update and maintain the client portfolio in good standing and
comply with the French legislation
* Attend and independently carry out meetings with clients and
consultants
* Ensure that all legal procedures remain in line with applicable
law and overall objectives
* Execute any activities necessary to ensure TMF Group c.a. and its
clients comply with which form a sound compliance point of view
required or otherwise desired
* Continuously develop strong working relationships with consultants
and clients involved with TMF Group and adequately keep up with
activities and refer them to third parties, such that possibilities of
activities to be referred to TMF Group are demonstrable increased
* Act if cross-selling opportunities arise
* Keep records per account of own worked hours and follow up on the
budget, invoicing, and collection
* In the future, at the request of the Direction, fulfill the role
of personal Director for clients
* Will supervise more junior profiles
ABOUT YOU
* University degree in (French) law (corporate)
* Preferably a minimum of 4-5 years of relevant working experience
* Knowledge of corporate law and regulations
* Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills
* General interest in international financial/capital markets and
financial instruments
* Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of
a team.
* Good communication skills coupled with the ability to liaise with
people internationally, through spoken and written channels and at all
levels
* Result-oriented and decisive
* Personal credibility, integrity, and high moral standards
* Entrepreneurial business focus on problem-solving with integrity
