Planning and Balancing Business Product Owner (m/f)

Job Description: A vacancy for a Planning and Balancing - Business Product Owner (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse (Astrolabe site). As the successful candidate you will join the Manufacturing Systems department. With the Digital Design, Manufacturing and Service Airbus is expecting a step change in the operational efficiency across the lifecycle of the program. Based on the 3DExperience solution both the current way of working (Processes & Methods) as well as the current tool landscape is challenged and updated or replaced. Our objectives are to reduce the time to market and the overall product costs (Non-recurring Cost and Recurring Cost), allowing a co-design with the assigned major subcontractor with taking into consideration the digital continuity of internal and external data generated. You will be in charge of definition of the Planning and Balancing processes Digitalization strategy for Satellite Manufacturing. This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities. Tasks & accountabilities Your main tasks and responsibilities will include: * Definition of the Planning and Balancing processes Digitalization strategy for Manufacturing * Participating in the definition of Reference Architecture * Exploration of technical solutions * Convergence plan in order to establish a midterm common solution for all the business unit * Definition of the use cases for the deployment of digital solutions for Planning and Balancing * Participate in Planning and Balancing forums. This role will involve frequent travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. Required skills You will have the following skills and experience: * Educated to Master degree level (or equivalent) in manufacturing Engineering or a related discipline * At least 5 years in Production Areas with experience in the following tasks : Deep knowledge of Planning and Balancing tools Participation in the definition of the planning for new Development Participation in Projects related to Planning and Balancing Solution Familiar with SAP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) * Coordination of manufacturing Engineering areas that contributes to the digital development activities * Knowledge of Digital Design and Manufacturing Systems - DDMS and ERP-MES Project would be appreciated * Negotiation in a multicultural environment skills to be able to support the backlog priorization * Mindset and way of working fitting multisite, multicultural, multifunction and complex working environment defending Production interests. * Leadership skills * Very good communication and active listening * Teamwork skills * Open minded and Digital Cultural Change enthusiastic * Language Skills: negotiation level of French and negotiation level of English.
