BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (FREELANCE) - REMOTE-FRIENDLY
L'Atelier BNP Paribas is a quantitative foresight subsidiary of BNP
Paribas Group that investigates and identifies new and emerging
technology-related market opportunities and challenges through data,
research and analysis. Our primary focus is on research and analysis
within virtual and digital domains.
We are looking for a freelance Business Development Manager to work
with us remotely or in Paris for ca. 4-6 months. You will work with
L’Atelier’s CEO and operations team to deploy a proprietary
technology tool to early clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Refine the existing value proposition and fine-tune a value
proposition roadmap with key milestones, in collaboration with
L’Atelier’s CEO. Frame preliminary specs for the V1, V2, and V3
offer of the product
* Jointly define the product’s go-to-market plan (website and
pitch deck collateral, target customers, timeline, etc.), pricing and
monetisation strategy
* Identify high-potential client pools, drive client acquisition
strategies, and build relationships with key target customers; develop
and deliver detailed pitches to key customer cohorts and map the
competitive landscape
* Document customer relationships from initiation to conclusion
* Participate in client engagements, including strategy sessions,
pre-calls, post-calls, and contract negotiations
* Acquire a strong working knowledge of L’Atelier’s products,
ethos, competitive landscape, and the market
REQUIREMENTS
* Have proven experience pitching and selling (B2B) digital data
products to senior managers and executives at large public and private
institutions. A track record of building strategic partnerships is a
plus.
* Have solid understanding of Europe’s technology and investment
ecosystem
* Have an active interest in and keen understanding of emerging
technologies across different domains
* Have ready access to a deep network in the fields of investing
(public and private) / FDI / corporate R&D, particularly in Europe
* Have an ability to build connections, credibility and exert
influence in the market
* Can make focused efforts to close negotiations. You are strategy
driven with a research-based approach
* Have a technologist-facing mindset and an ability to put yourself
in the shoes of users and clients
* Are fluent in English and ideally French. Additional language
skills are a plus.
DAILY RATE: €700-750
