Introduction
We’re looking for Software Test engineers to join our team in
Strasbourg, to work on a specific project carried out by the European
Commission.
WESTPOLE is an innovative ICT-company, freshly re-branded, with more

Responsabilities
AS A SOFTWARE TEST ENGINEER, YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE OF :
* Understand the business logic of the system under test
* Defining test plans
* Developing and executing test cases, scripts and preparing test
data
* Diagnosing issues and defects in accordance to requirements
* Reporting on test results and follow defects throughout the
life-cycle until the final resolution
* Participating in team meetings
Throughout your entire journey with WESTPOLE, you’ll be trained on
different specialization such as Automation Testing and Non-Functional
Testing to ensure you many opportunities to evolve in your career.
Requirements
PROFILE AND BACKGROUND REQUIRED :
WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE A PERSON WITH :
* A degree in Software design, Engineering, Computer science or
equivalent
* At least 2 years of professional experience in the field of manual
software testing
* An understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and
processes
* Knowledge of the QA processes and Testing life cycle
* Knowledge of the SDLC
* Working level of English language
* Motivation and ability to work without any additional supervision
It would also be a plus if you had experience in various
tools/frameworks :
* Experience with WEB, Mobile testing, and client-server based
architectures
* Experience in writing test scripts for Functional, Regression and
Performance tests
* Basic GIT understanding
* Basic knowledge of SQL
* Knowledge in WebServices (SOAP & REST), Jira, Java, XML, Jmeter
are considered a plus
