Intern Deep Learning Software Engineering (m/f/d)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Application Software Lab at Intel Paris is a center of innovation in
software for Internet of Things, with a special focus on Computer
Vision (CV) and Deep Learning (DL). In this role you will contribute
to the success of the projects running in the lab. You will be
designing and implementing tests and demos involving the latest and
upcoming hardware and software stacks such as the Intel OpenVINO and
oneAPI toolkits. You will be participating in developping and
optimizing CV and DL software frameworks, solutions, and building
blocks. You will also take responsibilities in profiling and
benchmarking the DL components on different hardware configurations.
With sufficient skills, experience, and aspiration you will be able to
participate in new software development projects. For a candidate
studying towards a degree in computer science and deep learning, this

Qualifications
A successful candidate will bring: - Linux skills: Installation and
customizing OS to hardware needs Knowledge about software, drivers and
firmware handling. Shell scripting - Proven strong programming skills
in C++ and Python - Good verbal and written English A strong plus will
be: - Experience in Machine Learning infrastructure development -
Experience in high performance computing - Experience in Docker or
other containerization technologies - Experince in CUDA programming -
Working experience with software revision systems like git or
subversion - Experience with Yocto Linux - Good verbal skills and
written communication skills in English and French languages. This
role requires good verbal and written communication skills in English.
The position involves working in an IT lab environment; the ability to
move equipment around is necessary. A candidate who's highly motivated
to learn, shows initiative, takes responsibility, and enjoys working
in an international environment will best fit the team.
