ABOUT TREASURY SERVICES
J.P. Morgan's Treasury Services (TS) business is one of the world's
largest providers of cash management, liquidity, FX, escrow services
and trade finance, which help resolve the working capital and
efficiency challenges facing treasury professionals. TS is essential
to clients and the firm, providing value-added solutions and services
to clients, a source of liquidity for the firm and steady revenue and
earnings growth for the business and its shareholders.
THE ROLE
The France Benelux team is part of the Europe FIG Sales coverage team
looking after Financial Institutions, Non-Bank Financial Institutions
and Public Sector clients based in Europe. Responsibilities include
managing existing client relationships, building new business and
penetrating new clients with various TS products. The team works
closely with the Global Corporate Bank and Investment Bank teams to
manage bank-wide client relationships. We are looking for an Analyst
to join the team BASED IN PARIS.
Key Responsibilities:
* Share in the team's responsibility for growing revenue,
profitability and developing client relationships
* Support new business development initiatives including client
training and segment research to identify new business target names
for consideration
* Support TSMs (Treasury Sales Manager) in analysing client activity
versus expectations, monitor client performance and provide business
reporting
* Support TSMs in the preparation of proposals and presentations for
existing clients and prospective customers
* Support TSMs in end-to-end service delivery to clients including
on-boarding and implementation
* Act as TSMs' back-up in the relationship management of existing
clients
* Partner with Client Service, Compliance, Credit, Legal, Operations,
Product, Risk and other functions including Senior Bankers to optimize
product and service delivery to clients
* Develop the skill set and contact network required to assume
responsibility for their own portfolio of clients medium/long term
Experience and Skills Required
* Candidate will have some relevant industry experience, ideally
gained within cash management or payments.
* Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
* Organized and disciplined with the ability to handle multiple
priorities and to act with own initiative.
* Ambition, drive and a "can-do" attitude with focus on delivery and
execution.
* Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications (particularly Power
Point and Excel) and Sharepoint.
* Interpersonal skills and sales experience (preferably in Financial
Services).
* European language skills, French and English.
