LOCATION:
The role is remote and can be based within the United Kingdom, Germany
or France.
THE JOB:
As part of Global Applications for Chromatography and Mass
Spectrometry, our organization supports the sales process, market
growth and adoption of Omics related products and workflows. You will
provide technical pre and post-sales application support to our
metabolomics users across EMEA. This includes training, consultation
and relationship management of key customers, on-site method
implementation, technical advice of sales colleagues and occasional
product demonstrations. You will work in close collaboration with
sales, service, marketing and R&D.
What will you do?
* Active contribution to the annual operating plan and the
achievement of team/individual goals.
* Coordinate your allocated customer activities for pre- and
post-sales.
* Provide metabolomics and lipidomics application/workflow technical
support to guide sales representative and customers to the best
solution for their short- and long-term needs.
* Support customers with on-site/remote high-quality application
support resulting in customer happiness, repeat orders and
establishing of a user-to-trusted consultant relationship.
* Support the introduction of new applications, workflows and
products in metabolomics/lipidomics.
* Collect and communicate market intelligence and voice of customer
to relevant partners and managers.
* Occasionally support customer events and scientific conferences
with posters and oral presentations.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: (EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES)
* Degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, PhD would be preferred.
* A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mass spectrometry.
Experience with Orbitrap technology would be an advantage.
* Proven knowledge in metabolomics applications and workflows,
including sample preparation, data acquisition and processing.
* Knowledge of market trends and drivers in metabolomics market, of
major competitors. Previous experience in similar role or industry.
* Positive and energetic personality with strong sense of
accountability, analytical and problem-solving skills, customer
advocate.
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills. Proven capabilities
of teamwork, ability to share information, knowledge and experience.
* Ability to work on own initiative, to prioritize and seek support
when needed, to meet goals.
* Excellent oral, written communication skills in English. Other
European languages is a plus.
* Willingness to travel and Driving License.
