* 20% Travel (mostly in France) * Substantial progressive professional
experience including: * Experience and knowledge working directly in
the startup and/or venture capital ecosystem. * Progressive experience
working within the technology industry (software, IaaS, SaaS,
ecommerce, venture investing in technology startups, etc.) * Startup
operating experience in business development, venture capital, or in
leadership roles. * Degree required * Fluent or Native French, both
spoken and Written * Fluent English Job summary The AWS Startup
Business Development team works with startups, accelerators and
incubators, angel and VC investors and entrepreneurs. We navigate
people and programs across AWS and Amazon to help startups grow and
succeed. We’re inviting you to join our team as Startup Business
Development Manager, B2B, France, to develop strategic partnerships
with B2B startups and the ecosystem (accelerators, incubators, angels,
universities, startup marketing organizations etc.). You will deliver
tangible business results that increases AWS adoption and customer
success by building awareness of AWS Startup programs and services,
providing technical and business guidance on the topics most important
to B2B startups and using customer feedback and experiences to help
AWS improve its startup services, messaging and products. Candidates
must have a background as a venture capital investor, a SaaS startup
founder, an accelerator operator, or a corporate venture builder,
where they’ve built a business, raised capital or were involved in
making venture investment decisions. Candidates with experience from
startup/investment organizations such financial advisory firms,
technology and engineering, founder’s club, corporate venture
investment teams, and family offices may also be considered. The ideal
candidate will possess an exceptional business development background
and demonstrated technical aptitude, strengthened by a technical
education, that enables them to engage with leading startup firms and
interact with startup founders, CXO’s, engineers and builders. A
deep understanding of the B2B startup ecosystem and business models,
especially SaaS, is a pre-requisite for being able to support our
startup customers on their growth journeys. Key job responsibilities *
Execute strategic initiatives, while working closely with key internal
stakeholders (e.g. sales, partners, marketing, technical, support,
training teams, etc) * Identify, develop and manage relationships with
top startup organizations to educate them on how AWS can help their
portfolio companies scale and grow their SaaS business models by
leveraging AWS services, resources, and go-to-market programs.. * Work
with startup organizations as their single point of contact of all
things AWS and Amazon, help them understand AWS benefits and where
there may be exciting opportunities for their startups. * Work closely
with founders to ensure they’re successfully engaging with AWS,
making sure they have the technical and business resource required for
optimal customer experience, and identifying additional opportunities
for them to work more deeply with AWS and other Amazon business units.
* Prepare and deliver data-driven reviews to the senior management
about progress, achievements, and roadblocks. * Participate in startup
community events of all kinds to identify high potential startups and
build personal relationship with startup founders and influencers. *
Evangelize AWS’ value and innovation culture to startup founders and
ensure they have full awareness and access to the full spectrum of the
resources and services AWS/Amazon has to offer About the team Our team

We are startup experts, and we strive to help entrepreneurs succeed
with AWS. * Startup founder/CXO experience * MBA or equivalent from a
top tier institution * Well networked in the startup ecosystem and a
regular speaker or panel member at key startup events within the
French market * Relevant business level technical knowledge of public
cloud computing and the value proposition it provides to startups,
with the ability to go deep enough on technical aspects to
