Production functional IT architect (m/f)

Job Description: You will join the Manufacturing Execution department in charge of providing the IT solutions for the AIRBUS Shopfloor activities in all the production sites. CONTEXT IT within Airbus is a transnational organisation mirroring the Industrial landscape. We are organized in Product and Service Lines (PSL) that have End-to-End (E2E) accountability and responsibility for their IT solutions. Within the PSL ”Manufacturing Operations“ you will join our product team responsible for the IT solutions in all AIRBUS Shopfloor. WHAT YOU’LL DO Your mission as an architect is to: * Balance technological opportunities with business (process) requirements. * Plan, design and integrate IT system components including hardware, software and services. * Deliver the global design including technical requirements, principles and models that guides solution design for the IT Product, in line with the Enterprise Architecture guidelines in strong collaboration with Technology Specialists * Secure the integration of solutions across applications, systems and platforms to achieve business objectives. Travelling to different Airbus sites on a moderate frequency will be part of the job. MAIN TASKS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES Your main activities will include: * Acting as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future IT Products & Services and validates product designs. * Collaborating with other Architects, systems analysts, and developers to deliver the highest quality solutions via cutting edge technologies. * Defining models, including solution patterns, to guide solution decisions. * Participating in all phases of the application development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support. - Aligning architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long- term strategic planning for our product. * Performing the technical/functional design of the application and infrastructure components of a new solution according to the defined functional design. EXPECTED SKILLS We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: * Educated to 5-year degree level or equivalent * Strong experience in Transversal IT projects. * High knowledge of SAP, especially SAP PP, PM, QM. SAP ME would be a plus. * Good communication skills with the ability to summarize complex information * Good presentation skills * Creative and innovation oriented * Team player * Advanced level in French and English. German could be a plus.
