Southern Europe Demand Planning Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Demand Planning Manager - Southern Europe (SE),
responsible for leading the demand planning standard processes for
Southern Europe in a sustainable way by working with cross functional
teams, developing capabilities in systems, continuously coaching and
mentoring Demand Manager teams to build their capabilities and
technical knowledge. The main outcome of the role will be to ensure
the most accurate forecast is in place to meet the customer demand and
to achieve the business results.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Strategic and Operational accountability for all demand planning
activities in Southern Europe
* Act as a key contact for Demand Management to stakeholders,
Logistics and Business Leadership.
* Execute the Demand Management strategy within Southern Europe .
* Understand gaps and opportunities within the regions and drive
standardization across the organization.
* Be accountable for the full forecast accuracy result for all
Southern Europe .
* Reinstate the Global Gold S&OP demand standard and ensure its
sustainability.
* Provide functional coaching and leadership to develop the skills
and capabilities of the Southern Europe Demand Management team. Drive
performance Management activities to achieve business results.
* Actively coach and train the demand planners to facilitate accurate
demand forecasts for the areas of accountability leading to the
consensus agreement at Country Leadership level.
* Ensure training and development needs for Southern Europe Demand
Management team are identified and progressed, including a formal
onboarding process for all new Demand Managers.
* Act as standardization gate keeper for the Southern Europe Demand
Management team and coordinate demand planning projects, processes.
Responsible of maintaining meeting cadence with the other Demand
Planning Managers to ensure above is achieved.
* Own Demand Management standard work and ensuring that other demand
managers are adhering to the deadlines.
* Engagement with the businesses, maintain close, co-operative
relationships with key stakeholders and customers, including
marketing, sales, finance, op
* Coordinate other Lead Demand Managers in Southern Europe to ensure
standardization & best share practices across UK and Northern Europe.
KEY COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
* Previous experience and t horough understanding of supply chain
process, demand planning and S&OP, as well as logistics and purchasing
processes
* Highly developed leadership skills
* High analytical and interpersonal skills
* Business acumen
* Project Management
* Problem solving, LEAN knowledge
* Result orientation with a focus on details
* Good level of communication with internal and external stakeholders
* Standardization (adopt & adapt) experience
* SAP and BW end user training
