About the job This 6-month internship in Data Science will start in July 2022 and will be located in Rueil-Malmaison. CONTEXT: To support Danone's top-level ambition to adopt a data-empowered organization, we are building a team in Paris to be the "Data analytics and AI center of Excellence" for Europe as well as the data sciences capabilities for Europe in Danone. We are currently a team of 6 and we are part of the IT organization at Danone, working in close link with other teams supporting data governance, data engineering and with business stakeholders. To support our growth and develop new use cases, we are looking into highly skilled and motivated interns, to work on innovative and concrete projects. You will be integrated in a delivery team and coached by one of our Data Scientists. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Depending on the ongoing projects when you join Danone, you will be integrated in a project team! You will be in charge of the developments of new technical features, including some research and bibliographical work. Here are some examples of possible topics you can work on: * Test of Bayesian methods to improve existing demand forecast * Research of price optimum in a context of inflation based on existing price elasticity * Development of consumers churn models based on existing datamart WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE DANONE: * Various missions and high responsibility level * The possibility to bring concrete recommendations and a fresh perspective (that’s what will make the difference!) * Onboarding and HR personalized follow-up throughout the internship * 1.120€ (1st year of Master or equivalent) to 1.300€ (2nd year of Master or equivalent) gross per month About you THE MUST HAVE: * You are currently involved in a master’s degree program or equivalent in Computing Science, Data Science or Mathematics and you are looking for a six-month internship * You are fluent in English, you can communicate easily in written and spoken form on a daily basis * You have strong development skills and a good knowledge of Pyton (Python, Git) * You have some knowledge of machine learning models (supervised and unsupervised learning) * You are organized and you can manage your projects with autonomy * You have a great team spirit with strong communication skills.
