ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* The responsible territory includes France, Spain, Portugal and
Africa
* Directly responsible for meeting the established sales budget
within the region
* Travel in the region for customer visits, product demonstrations
and trade shows
* Makes field sales calls with sales channel partners
* Provides demonstrations of our viscosity measurement equipment at
customer sites
* Provides technical support to customers and channel partners in the
region
* Maintains and updates the CRM data base with all required
information
* Provides accurate and timely forecasts of expected business results
to achieve sales goals and objectives
* Works effectively with the Inside Sales Representative as well as
peers to manage the growth and flow of business
* Implements strategies that will increase sales within the region
* Develops and maintains strong business relationships with customers
and sales channel partners as well as internally within the business
* Coordinates all regional training and marketing activities,
including analysis of sales statistics within the region
* Provides PowerPoint Presentations 3 to 4 times per year at sales
meetings to report on territory performance against targets and
provides action plans needed to achieve revenue targets
* Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE SKILLS:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering or a technical
education
* Min 3 years industry sales experience or experience in technical
sales
* Written and verbal language proficiency in French(C2/C1) and
English(C1/B2)
NICE TO HAVE:
* Understanding of Polymer Markets (Extrusion, Injection and Blow
molding)
* Previously successful sales background
* Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with various customer
disciplines - other sales professionals, senior management and
internal peers - in a highly cooperative manner
* Demonstrated skills in communication (both oral and written),
influence, and organization
* Proficient in Windows-based software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Proficient in the use of CRM
* Availability and willingness to travel as needed within the region
and to the European HQ in Heilbronn Germany
