DESCRIPTION OF THE DEPARTMENT The Central Services Team in Real Assets provides key support to the European investment business of AXA IM - Real Assets in technical areas such as key supplier management, tax, accounting, insurance, corporate legal, cash mangement and systems maintenance. This role, which requires excellent communication and organisation skills, and the ability to interact effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders, will assist in the management and oversight of the invoice approval and payment processes. 3. THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE * Using a system generated invoice status report, organise the data into key categories for review against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Include as necessary reporting received from external service providers to present a holisitic report on invoice processing status. * Assist in the communication and follow up of required actions to ensure invoices are processed in the required payment terms. * As required, operate as the central point of invoice receipt froom suppliers, maintaining a log of invoices received, and then transmit invoices to the relevant accounting team for processing. Where required follow invoices through the entire process until payment, reacting to any blockages. * Where necessary assist in the verification of new suppliers, or changes to supplier data, including the input of supplier data into the accounting system. * Monitor and maintain the list of invoice approvers, and accountants, in the invoice workflow system, resolving any missing data. * Interact with internal and external teams as required to faciliate the payment of suppliers in line with payment terms * Assist with other tasks and projects as required in support of the Central Cash Management Team QUALIFICATIONS 4. Profile _EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS_ * Recognised school qualifications essential _EXPERIENCE_ * Previous experience in an Accounts Payable / Cash Management team would be preferable but not essential * Previous experience of accounting systems and / or accounts payable tools would be beneficial but not essential _KNOWLEDGE /SKILLS_ * Good Microsoft skills (excel, and powerpoint) * English language skills (written and verbal) essential * French language skills (verbal) ideal _COMPETENCIES_ * Multitask in a demanding environment * Very good communication skills and a positive and can-do attitude * Ability to wok under pressure and still ensuring quality requirements * Ability/willingness to work collaboratively with different cultures * Highly organised, efficient and reliable * Committed and highly motivated * Good IT skills 5.
