AXA IM Alts global sustainability team is in charge of supporting the integration of the Responsible Investment (RI) strategy in all our activities. It is composed of experienced, multicultural, pluridisciplinary and passionate individuals, based in London and Paris. It relies on a network of ESG local correspondents in 12 countries to provide insight and guidance to asset management teams in delivering on internal KPIs and ESG related targets set out by the business. 3. THE MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE The global sustainability team is looking for an intern to support the implemetation and oversight of the integrated approach to responsible investment. The future intern will contribute to the team, focusing on three key projects: _CLIMATE STRATEGY:_ The intern will be in charge of performing research and analysis to contribute to defining the real estate investments scope 3 strategy. He/She will contribute to defining the scope of work and performing a first estimate of the activity’s scope 3 impact using sectoral and regulatory framework (GHG Protocol, Science Based Targets, EU Taxonomy, SFDR…). He/She will use benchmark to identify relevant market practice and perform recommendations. _DATA QUALITY AND REVIEW:_ The intern will contribute to supporting asset managers and property managers in collecting ESG data, using internal tools and understanding key reporting requirements and processes. He/She will participate to analysing data collected to ensure it’s quality and completeness, and will bring support to the audit process launched. _ANNUAL BENCHMARKING AND INVESTOR REPORTING (GRESB, INREV, UN PRI):_ The intern will support internal teams in providing the data, answers and evidence required to complete GRESB and other investor reporting requirements. He/She will bring technical support to asset managers and property managers in understanding the requirements, checking the data available and improving data coverage and quality. The intern might also be involved in the sustainability day to day tasks, such as: * Market research in ESG related topics, carbon, green finance, natural capital, green energy and real asset solutions * Support teams in the use our ESG data management platform across countries, strengthening the database over time * Integration & assessment of asset performance plans using various tools (i.e CRREM) * Provide assistance in development of ESG action plans and targets into annual asset plans including capex and investment proposals * Research and assistance in developing through leadership topics, developing financial business use cases and assessing new investment opportunities. * Development of case studies to demonstrate measurable evidence of actions and progress QUALIFICATIONS 4. Profile _EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS_ * Postgraduate studies in Finance, Management, Engineering or Real Estate * A focus on ESG is favourable _EXPERIENCE_ * Previous experience in real estate or responsible investment would be a strong plus _COMPETENCIES_ * Accomplished interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently in a team in an international and matrix environment * Autonomous, initiative, entrepreneurial and result driven culture * Strong analytical and synthesis capacity * Verbal and written communications and presentation skills * Creative thinking, capability to develop innovative solutions * Strong written and oral skills in English * Any other European language is considered a plus 5.
