YOUR CONTRIBUTION Context We are looking for an intern to support the deployment of our digital solution on commodity risk management on our Power Supply activities. Role Within BP Downstream we are managing the commodity supply and risk management for BU B2C France. We are developing a digital solution to improve our risk management and secure our operational processes. We want to speed up the deployment of this tool, in this context your role consists of: * Study the portfolio and propose a representation of the risk in our risk management tools per risk family, client typology, … * Develop tactical tool to improve our risk management and our processes. Work with our IS team for further integration * Take part in the operation of supply and risk management : forecasting, hedging, costing, risk assessment (pricing model) * Actively follow the P&L (based on Marked to Market or Stress test) and explain the variation per risk category and strategy * Follow up and develop hedging strategy to better capture the risk of the portfolio and balance it with BU B2C risk appetite QUALIFICATIONS ABOUT YOU HARD SKILLS * HYBRID ROLE: SOMEONE WITH MARKET RISK KNOWLEDGE AND CODING ABILITIES * ABILITY TO MANAGE COMPLEX TRANSVERSAL PROJECTS WITH MULTIPLE STAKEHOLDERS * IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING OF THE TRADING AND PORTFOLIO & RISK MANAGEMENT BUSINESS * HIGH LEVEL OF NUMERACY AND STRONG ANALYTICAL, COMBINED WITH A HANDS-ON APPROACH * PROFICIENT IN PYTHON 3.7 (NUMPY, PANDAS) AND EXCEL VBA * REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE USING JUPYTER NOTEBOOK * FAMILIAR WITH USING APIS SOFT SKILLS * WILLING TO WORK IN A FRONT POSITION WITH DIRECT IMPACT ON GROUP'S AND BU'S P&L * HIGHLY RESILIENT * RESULT-ORIENTED PRACTICAL THINKER * RIGOROUS AND ACCURATE * CREATIVE AND ACT AS TRUE INITIATIVE-TAKING ENTREPRENEUR * A DYNAMIC AND FLEXIBLE TEAM WORKER * PASSIONATELY DETERMINED TO SUCCEED * TEAM PLAYER EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND * MASTER, ENGINEERING DEGREE OR BUSINESS SCHOOL * PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN SEVERAL ASPECTS OF SALES PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT, TRADING, FINANCE OR SIMILAR AREAS IS A PREFERRED LANGUAGES * Fluent in French and English ABOUT ENGIE Our group is a global reference in low-carbon energy and services.
