senior bluetooth le software engineer

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join an enthusiastic and dynamic team of highly skilled engineers in Sophia-Antipolis, in developing software protocols on NXP Wireless ARM-Cortex M and RISC-V microcontrollers. You will be working on Bluetooth Low Energy protocol and various application layers, setting the trends in various domains such as Internet of Things (IoT), Tire-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Medical, Car Access, Asset Tracking, Smart Tags, … You will participate to our investment in the localization domain based on Bluetooth Low Energy Standard including future ratified High Accuracy Distance Measurement (HADM) feature. Your main responsibilities will be to develop and integrate Software modules based on latest Bluetooth Low Energy standard : Architecture, design, code, integration and unitary tests. The focus will be on the lower layers of the Bluetooth Low Energy protocol, involving real time constraints and interface with Hardware. Also, in the context of HADM, super-resolution signal processing algorithms will need to be integrated on ultra-low-power Microcontrollers. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A CANDIDATE: * University degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related field * Strong Embedded Firmware skills and experience * Strong knowledge in real-time systems and RTOS * Strong C programming skills * Strong knowledge in microcontroller architectures and peripherals * Knowledge in Networking Protocols (IP, UDP, TCP) and Wireless Communications (BLE, Wi-Fi, ZigBee) * Knowledge in MAC layers and experience in driver level programming * Knowledge in software engineering processes and full software development lifecycle * Very good English verbal and written communication skills WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE: * Ability to interpret mixed signal PCB schematics * Knowledge in signal processing algorithms and Matlab
