About the job
CONTEXT
We are looking for our future Aquadrinks Category Strategy apprentice
for SEPTEMBER 2022. The role is based in PARIS.
AQUADRINKS is a category DANONE has created back in the 2000s and it
has contributed a lot to its growth and profitability ever since.
Consumer’s demands have evolved recently thus value equation has
been challenged and the business needs re-invention. It’s a relay
exciting one as you can enjoy all the fun from competing withing the
Non-Alcoholic Beverages market and the amounts of possibilities it
offers but also it demands discipline, clarity and being choiceful to
be competitive enough.
THE AQUADRINKS CATEGORY STRATEGY INTERN will be responsible for
mapping and understanding the local business performances and main
plans implementation monitoring but also will be involved and will
support the team on the development of toolkits and expertise to be
infused into the local marketing community to unlock growth within our
local brands. It’s an exciting job and should foster the intern
development on connecting marketing and business aspects.
He/she works closely with global S&I and R&I teams but also with local
teams. In terms of spirit, it’s a blend an external partner with
fresh eyes that local teams can rely on and strategy implementation
accelerator.
YOUR MISSIONS:
BUSINESS STRATEGY / STRATEGIC VISION
* Build a local category performance and map and follow up the key
activities per country to be implemented.
* Support the implementation of the Waters category strategic
framework together with countries and the toolkits created to support
local brand inno/renovations.
IMPACT ON BUSINESS RESULTS
* Support key CBUs on their key local projects providing learnings
from other countries and guidance from the strategic framework
implementation.
* Close look on CBUs category P&L and its key challenges to nurture
mix redefinitions discussions and recommendations.
IMPACT ON BUSINESS RESULTS
* Coordinate / ensure best practice sharing for the brand marketing
community
MANAGERIAL COMPLEXITY
* Ensure a ‘total team’ approach leveraging all strategy
resources to serve the business
About you
MUST-HAVE
* You are a student in BAC+4/5 university, business school or
engineering school ;
* You are rigorous, synthetic and have good interpersonal skills ;
* You know how to evolve in a complex environment and enjoy new
challenges ;
* You have A GOOD MARKETING SENSITIVITY and A FLUENT LEVEL OF
ENGLISH ;
* You are proactive and open-minded ;
* Ideally, you have marketing experience and/or a good knowledge of
the retail or food industry.
