The Head of Airbus Export Control is responsible for overseeing and promoting the Airbus Export Compliance Programme and ensuring it is implemented in a coherent and pragmatic way across the Group. In particular the Head of the Export Control Programme Office ensures that the key elements of the Airbus Export Control Programme are properly implemented. Ensuring that ITAR / EAR related requirements, aspects including classification is properly understood and applied across the Company is a key element of the Programme. A vacancy for an Export Control Product Manager (m/f) has arisen within Airbus SAS. The successful applicant will join the Export Control Programme Office (LOEG) team. Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to work as Product Manager in the Global Export Control System (GECS) Programme under the functional lead of GECS Senior Project / Programme Manager. In detail the tasks and responsibilities of the position are: * To be accountable for the End to End Product life cycles from conception, design, industrialization, operation and retirement. * To define the business product and manage the life cycle from idea to retirement. * To ensure that the known Product Vision is translated into a prioritized Product Backlog in alignment with the product owners. * To facilitate two-way-dialogue to translate Business needs against known technical & resource constraints. * To manage product backlogs. * To ensure that business priorities are reflected in backlog items. * To manage of activities in frame of the change management process - coordination of change activities We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience: * Strong team spirit, open and transparent communication * Distinct problem solving mind-set and orientation * Knowledge of agile work processes (SAFe), experience in lean processes would be a plus * Networking skills, ability to manage stakeholders even on a large and broad scope * Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to simplify and engage * Advanced level in English is expected * Product Lifecycle Management * Software Requirement and change management * Project Management * Knowledge of Export Control would be a significant advantage This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
