The Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) of Montpellier, the Global Center of
Excellence for the Packaging and Distribution of Clinical
Investigational Products of SANOFI, within the entity Clinical
Sciences Operations (CSO), is a department whose transformation is in
progress with the aim of significantly improving our operational
performance and general costs. Managing our costs, increasing the
productivity of packaging and distribution operations, the challenges
associated with the transformation of SANOFI R&D’s product portfolio
in development, maintaining our competitiveness, as well as updating
our service offerings and investing in innovative solutions are the
drivers for the coming years.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The missions of the Ordering and Scheduling Head are
* Manager of the team in charge of the scheduling of packaging
operations, and the supply of items and consumables used by production
and the store
* Member of the management team of the Packaging and Distribution
Operations department of Montpellier
* Coordinates transversally the operational activities (dossiers,
dispensations, packaging) of the unit
* Builds and analyzes of workload plans, sizing of operational teams,
in conjunction with sector managers
* Builds and analyzes performance indicators in conjunction with the
Methods team
* Ensures alignment of resources (human, machinery, material) with
regard to production needs, ensures alignment with budget targets
given by Finance
* Is the interface with the Operational Capacity Management Team
(RDPM Team)
* Provides pertinent operational data of the Master Planning Meeting
of the CSCO Leadership team
* Proposes and implement solutions for improving tools and processes
with the aim of better scheduling and better supply on an on-going
basis
* Occasionally manage processes and tools improvement projects
* Manages a team of 6 internal associates (including 1 manager,
trainees and interns), in which
* A pole in charge of production scheduling (including the allocation
of operating ranges, production orders, time spent analysis, etc.)
* A pole in charge of supply: purchase requests / orders, and
warehouse reception scheduling

Soft Skills
* Thoroughness, proactivity, detail oriented and ability to summarize
* Ability to consolidate, cross-reference data, and have an overall
vision
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel and prioritize
activities
* Managerial know-how and exemplarity
Hard Skills
* Mastery of tools such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Ideally knows ORTEMS Scheduling
* Speaks English
Expected experience and profile
* Bac+5 in Science, Production Management Engineer or equivalent
* 3 to 5 years minimum experience in logistics or production in the
pharmaceutical industrial environment preferred
