JOB DESCRIPTION: A new opportunity has arisen as a System Engineer within STC* Solutions Programme / Customer Services (siglum SRS).STC Solutions Programme is an integrated team, human sized and colocalized, with Engineering, Airworthiness, Project Management, Quality, Procurement, Logistics,... which values the One Team, One Goal. We deliver Cabin and Cabin Systems upgrade solutions (SB*, ICA* and kits) certified through Airbus STC, to airlines and lessors for the modification of their in-service aircrafts, through our dedicated : Team, Processes, Suppliers and Means (dedicated Kit Factory). Integrated in the STC Cabine Systems & Airframe Engineering team, the System Engineer is fully autonomous and works as the electrical architect of the upgrade solution. In return our team would be pleased to share our experiences and accompany you in your new journey. * STC: Supplemental Type Certificate * SB: Service Bulletin * ICA: Instruction for Continued Airworthiness DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB In the frame of Cabin Systems upgrades projects on various program (A320, A330, A380, A350), the job holder is responsible for following missions: * be overall accountable for all electrical systems Tasks and Activities. These tasks cover E2E activities from the customer requirements to the working party including: * Electrical architecture * Electrical substantiation * Installation Instruction * Technical assistance during working party * Realyze and Follow all its deliverables and give feedback of the “on time / on Cost” to the Project Manager and Head Of DO Systems & Airframe, * Provide support to aircraft in service Systems to be installed or adapted are mainly: CIDS / IFE / Connectivity / ISPSS / Light. Following competencies level of the job holder, CVE delegation signatory could be given. REQUIRED HARD SKILLS * Educated to Master level (or equivalent) in Electrical Network or Power electronic Engineering or a related discipline, * Demonstrated knowledge of Embedded Systems, Avionics and Aircraft architecture, * Know-How & Experience in Embedded Electrical Systems Engineering, and development of exclusive solutions * Know-How & Experience of electrical systems architecture, * Know-How on electrical substantiation (Functional Hazard Analysis / Electrical Load Analysis / EMI / Ground Test Instruction …), * Understanding and knowledge in equipment qualification of ABD100, DO160 and DO178, * Knowledge in General Regulation Requirements - CS25, * Knowledge in Aircraft Publications (AMM, AWM, IPC…), * Basics knowledge in Technical Project Management, * Airbus aircrafts general knowledge. SOFT SKILLS * Adaptable, * Proactive, * Develop and maintain a high level of collaborative work with the involved stakeholders, * Synthesis ability, * Communication skills. This role may involve some worldwide travels for business– typically once a month. Possible on call duties during week-ends and/or holidays seasons.
