Summary of the role We are looking for a QA automation engineer to enforce best practices of validation and testing using and/or developing the required tools. You will be part of a team working on data preparation and modelling for a product we provide to airlines so that they can analyse their data. So if you have experience in complex and distributed data driven applications testing, if you strive to achieve technical excellence along while delivering business value, you have to read further! Your Main Responsabilities You will work with functional analysts and developers and in close collaboration with Product Manager to deliver Data platform capabilities dedicated to analytics. Especially: * You will analyze user needs and design, implement and automate test plans. * You will propose frameworks, technical solutions or processes to continuously improve the products test coverage and automation. * You will design the product evolutions together with the development team to enforce testability. * You will validate that new developments are in line with the specifications, investigate bugs and participate in the root cause analysis. * You are curious and like discovering new technologies, new functional area, and are eager to understand the functional aspects of your applications. About the ideal candidate Will have 2 years of experience in a similar role where they will have demonstrated their capacity to identify the most relevant test scenarios and automate their executions. * Language: either python, scala or java * Any scripting language would be appreciated (bash, powershell, python,…) * Frameworks: Robot Framework, Selenium, … * Autonomy, self-motivation and pro-activity * Accountability, commitment to deliver durable work of quality, ready to embrace challenges * Team player, multicultural approach, eager to learn from other and share knowledge A perfect candidate has ideally as well: * Knowledge in Azure managed services * Data Modelling techniques (eg Star Schema, Data Vaults) * Familiar with CI/CD and Devops * Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) * Analytical and conceptual thinking, information gathering.
