About the Team You will be leading a highly experienced and dedicated team of individuals based in France, Spain, Benelux and Italy across a diverse range of disciplines from general Demand Generation, to Digital, Events and Account Based Marketing. The team is closely aligned to the sales organization, with the ability to execute campaigns across our core personas and account segments. You will also marshal and align team members in the region that may have separate reporting lines, including communications, digital, content and customer advocacy. About the Role Workday is looking for a Marketing Director to lead the company’s marketing efforts across Continental Europe, including France, Spain, Italy and Benelux. This senior position is an excellent opportunity at a fast-growing, US-based software company that is rapidly expanding in the region. As Marketing Director for Continental Europe, you will work closely with the other members of the Marketing, Sales and Professional Services teams to build brand awareness and pipeline for the business. You will be leading a team of dedicated marketing professionals across the region, ensuring we exceed our growth targets and bring ever more focus to our execution. This position is located in France and will be a key part of the Continental management team and the EMEA marketing leadership team. Specific Responsibilities include: * Tightly integrate with the sales team on regular basis to drive planning and execution, ensuring timely and open communication channels. * Ensure flawless execution across all planned marketing activities, marshaling the entire EMEA marketing team to drive successful outcomes. * Align Marketing plans to the business priorities in Continental Europe * Develop annual marketing plan for the region designed to create awareness and build pipeline for Workday’s core solutions * Identify audience segmentation strategy; vehicle and media mix recommendation, timing and forecast of results * Drive integrated marketing campaigns from inception to optimization with a cross-functional corporate marketing team based in EMEA and the US. This will include demand generation, brand awareness, events, field marketing, web/online marketing, communications and creative services. * Work with appropriate groups (product marketing, sales, operations and strategy) to develop appropriate messaging platforms, content, and stories from which to build campaigns * Manage and develop the Continental Europe local marketing team * Analyze campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization and future enhancements * Manage project budgets and take responsibility for tracking and monitoring campaign spend. * Assess and execute on partner marketing opportunities. About You Position Qualifications Results-driven marketing professional with a proven ability to deliver commitments on time while achieving or exceeding business goals. Experience * 15+ years successful related marketing experience, preferably in a SaaS, enterprise software, cloud environment * Knowledge of the local enterprise software market, preferably within HR and/or Financial applications * Strategically-minded but willing to be very hands on and get programs executed * Proven ability to effectively execute integrated, streamlined marketing programs that drive pipeline * Ability to work with people at all levels of an organization including executive management, sales, and marketing * A business degree or equivalent * Experience working with a US-based company as an in-country marketing manager * Track record of team building and team leadership * Willing to travel within EMEA and to HQ in the USA occasionally #LI-CDL Are you being referred to one of our roles?
