Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: Accountabilities: The jobholder will work in the
NAVBLUE Analyze, Optimize and Manage risk Value Stream; specifically
within the Runway safety engineering team. The Runway safety
engineering team is responsible for the definition, the development
and the roll out of their respective product portfolio (i.e. ROPS, LDG
SURV, Runway Sense, …) in coordination with NAVBLUE stakeholders and
according to business and market demand. The Project Lead and Business
Analyst is responsible for actively supporting the team operations
with the aim to ensure the timely delivery of product development,
implementation (line fit and retrofit) and customer satisfaction. With
a solid base of avionics engineering and market knowledge the Business
Analyst will act as both technical and product advisor for the
assigned product line(s). Main Responsibilities: * Business
operations: * Develop strong understanding of new and existing
products and their attributes * Assist product teams in resolving
product design, development and marketing issues * Serve as an
escalation point for internal and external customer queries on
advanced product functionality and issue resolution * Support and lead
customer facing product activities, such as Operational Briefing *
Analyze business and product requirements to gain access to new
markets and prepare CEIS when necessary (i.e. new LDG SURV function) *
Contribute to the monitoring of Product Quality and Product compliance
to requirements and Standards * Provide technical support to Sales,
Customer Experience and Innovation teams * Identify business
development opportunities by analyzing market trends and competitive
information * Provide support to the Marketing and ensure that all
product documentation as well as marketing and sales information are
available and up-to-date (i.e e-learning content) * Assist in the
RFI/RFP process by providing product-specific input (fleet analysis
and quotation) * Manage and coordinate deliveries for retrofit &
rReport performance of line fit and retrofit deliveries on monthly
basis * Development activity: * Ensure the coordination on development
activities for a safety function until certification (i.e LDG SURV) in
collaboration with Airbus Program and Engineering (i.e. MOD opening
preparation, Prepare the function for the FAL deployment (offerability
Linefit), …) * Coordinate with Upgrade Service to prepare the
function for retrofit (offerability Retrofit) * Steer project control:
Quality, time and budget Dimensions: * Subordinate employees: none *
Team size: 10-15 _Output: _ The key deliverables consist in: * Project
management and business operations on-time, on-budget and on-quality *
Product related issues resolutions and customer satisfaction * Product
intelligence (customer/market/fleet) * Product expertise (technical
analysis / feasibility studies/pricing /contracts analysis) *
Deliveries monitoring and analysis reports for business development as
per the AOP * Coordination meetings/actions. _Education: _ * Master of
Science in Airline management, or equivalent _Experience: _ *
Preferably + 5 Years of experience * A proven Experience in technical
support facing Customers _Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities
& Competencies: _ The Jobholder shall possess the following
qualifications and attributes: * Strong skills on Airbus engineering *
Experience in project management to build and to drive a project
roadmap until delivery (Stakeholders and suppliers management, Risk
and cost management as well as project governance) is a “plus” *
Advanced interpersonal and communication (both oral and written)
skills * Recognized for agility and analytic skills _Travel Required:
_ * Domestic and International / 3-5 times a year This job requires an
