JOB DESCRIPTION: THE REWARD PROVIDED BY ENABLING DELIVERY AND FLIGHT
OF AN AIRCRAFT shortly after the development of a technical solution

offer. We are looking for a WING MAP STRUCTURES DESIGN ENGINEER (M/F)
to join the Wide Body Structures MAP department (A330/A350/A380) which
is a dynamic team working on Flight Test, Final Assembly Line and
Delivery Center technical issues. This is a great opportunity to
develop and improve your hands on Structural Engineering skills in an
environment exposed to an exciting and diversified range of technical
topics. With us you will learn the end to end repair process as well
as a chance to work on interesting projects along the way. You will be
also respecting in your daily work Airbus design philosophy by using
appropriate design tools and justification methods, ensuring above all

THE RIGHT BOOST * Exposure to our aircraft and support departments on
a daily basis. * You will develop yourself to gain technical knowledge
and get more responsibility up to the technical signature delegations.
* Opportunities to develop cross-skill knowledge within various
disciplines. * Opportunities to participate in flight testing
activities. YOUR MAIN ACTIVITIES WILL BE TO: * Produce design
technical solutions to support the build, test and delivery of
aircraft on a daily basis. * Work side by side with different teams in
Flight Test Centre, Final Assembly Line and Delivery Centre. *
Technically support cross-program MAP teams (A330/A350/A380). *
Support through on-call duty FAL and Delivery Center. * Technical
liaison with Plant, In-Service Repair, Design Office and Chief
Engineering teams * Coordinate and monitor the on time delivery of
input data from various teams (Airbus internal and sub-contractors) to
secure answering within customer set targets. * Propose and implement
continuous improvement and innovation initiatives to make sure we
deliver on-time with highest quality, improve Airbus efficiency and
provide added value for customer satisfaction. AS A SUCCESSFUL
CANDIDATE YOU WILL HAVE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND COMPETENCES: * Master's
degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering * Knowledge of overall
aircraft design. * Knowledge of structure design for metal and/or
CFRP. * Ability to obtain a structure design delegation. * Customer
oriented to find and propose best solution to fit customer needs * An
awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act
with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success,
reputation and sustainable growth. * Knowledge of the aircraft
structure and/or having ATA 57/53 delegation is an advantage. * Repair
knowledge (In-Service Repair / Plant Engineering) from the structural
area is also an advantage. * Ability to work in a team, high
motivation and proactivity is a must. * Language skills: negotiation
level of English. * Knowledge of how to apply Problem Solving
techniques and Lean activities. * Committed in their own development
to learn new skills, working across adjacent disciplines in the same
team. * The ability to write and speak French or willing to learn.
