environment POSITION SUMMARY As part of the overall ESG-Sustainability
strategy, we are looking for a Global Climate Delivery Leader Forest
based in Paris, France. Reporting directly to the Global Head of
Sustainable Sourcing & Climate Delivery, you will be our climate
strategist, shaping the global forest climate strategy, leading its
implementation across the group and operationalizing itself a third of
the expected carbon deliverables especially in palm oil sourcing
landscapes Net Zero by 2050 Climate change is one of society's
greatest challenges. It is also one of the greatest risks to the
future of our business. Solving it requires all of us to act with
great urgency. Nestlé may be only one player, but we have the size,
scale, and reach to influence many more and to inspire collective
action. We will halve our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 and achieve
net zero by 2050 – even as our business continues to grow. A DAY IN
THE LIFE OF THE GLOBAL CLIMATE DELIVERY LEADER FOREST * Shape annual
groupwide sustainable sourcing (palm oil) and forest climate workplan
across all commodity sourcing: coffee, cocoa, coconut, palm etc. *
Breakdown the strategy at Zone level and onboard all stakeholders
(Zones & Above The Market sourcing functions in particular) into the
operational and budgeting implications * Consolidate all forest
climate interventions from the different Above the Market teams,
delivering against the strategy and the expected carbon expectation of
the year" * Operationalize the sustainable sourcing strategy on palm
oil, delivering against carbon and certification groupwide commitments
* Operationalize the Global Reforestation Program with its 50Mio CHF
budget, 25 Mio trees planted per year, across 15 different country of
planting and 5 global partners. * Coach other colleagues for tree
planting not under the scope of the Global Reforestation Program" *
Represent Nestle Group on sustainable sourcing forums. On request back
up of Unit Head. * Interact with governmental ministry in regard to
the climate transition especially for the front runners climate pilots
in USA, Canada, Mexico & Brazil. * As required by the brand taskforce
advise Businesses in external communication to consumers, customers,
media and NGOs." * Manage, coach and develop 2-3 direct report based
in Kuala Lumpur and Panama WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL * Academic
background: Post-graduate in forestry, environmental science or
"hard"" carbon related sciences * 5-7 expertise in multinational or
consulting firms in the field of sustainable sourcing of climate *
Demonstrated excellence in climate strategies and related
operationalization plans * Deep knowledge in sourcing, Scope 3,
agriculture, on the ground climate operations / challenges * Master
knowledge in data management * Theoretical & Practical know how in
supplier’s management and farm operations * Expertise in external
representation to industry roundtables * Soft skills: Courageous,
autonomous, ok with virtual teams, independent and self-driven (low
