BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
The Non Functional Requirement, End-to-End platform test, Community
and coaches (NEC) is an organization which aims to ensure high quality
of our cloud deliverables. The organization has several mission:
Ensure the stability of the Cloud Platform thanks to our system
integration team focused on End to end test of the platform as well as
on Non-Functional tests (such as chaos, performance, …) Act as an
enabler for Quality Improvement of the Cloud Platform (defining the
test strategy of the platform, managing the Quality Community of
Practice of TPE, …) Support Cloud teams when it comes to Quality
through the whole development life cycle Provide services to both the
Cloud Platform and potentially application migrating to the cloud
Provide guidelines, tools, services around Non Functional Tests such
as: Performance tests & framework Chaos testing Security SDL best
practices Incubate devops cloud platform people for an increased
quality minsdet Have you ever wondered what is behind the “Cloud
Platform”? How it interacts with the applications? Eager to work on
both Cloud and Quality, work on multiple topics / aspects of the
Quality? Come and join the new NEC team; This job is for you! As a
Principal QA / Manager QA in the NEC team you will be working with
other Principal QA / QA Manager. You will have several missions: Be
the Quality entry point for one of the Cloud Platform train by:
Defining test strategies Propagating Quality mindset be it from static
testing to post production testing Defining and prioritizing quality
improvement based on exchange with each team composing the train Raise
needs linked to Quality of the train to central organization Help
platform teams to put in place their validation framework Propagate
NFR best practices Define for the Cloud Platform Validation team The
End to End tests to validate the platform as a black box Potentially
help the cloud platform validation team by writing, executing some of
the above scripts Propose optimisation and ensure a maintainable
regression Work on the validation of the automation of landing zone
deployment with associated PaaS and MDW components To do this you will
interface with mainly with ART and all teams associated to the
concerned train and NEC organization. This will be key for the global
stability and quality of the platform provided by TPE to Amadeus.
Purpose
The Principal QA Engineer acts as a Quality Assurance Engineer, with
additional responsibilities. He/she demonstrates operational
excellence and acts a role model for job-related activities. Through
cross-team guidance, the Principal Quality Assurance Engineer acts as
a functional and technical lead responsible for defining and spreading
best practices around QA methodology among the organization. He/she
supports, mentors less experienced colleagues, and conducts technical
discussions with internal development partners to understand their
designs and intended output. The Principal QA Engineer takes a leading
role in the technical implementation of the test strategy. He/she has
a strong IT & business understanding.

_ Responsible for designing test automation
_ Maintain documentation of test results to assist in debugging and
modification of complex/cross-functional software/solution to ensure
existing functionality and recommends corrective actions
_ For complex/cross-functional solutions, analyze, write and execute
test standards and procedures
_ Hold a proficient product domain knowledge incl. relevant business
processes & scenarios and a proficient understanding of customer needs
_ Leads customer triages/debug sessions and helps the team with
reproducing the problem in-house. Enable faster turn-around time for
customer defects
_ Participate in internal/external forums and lead discussions around
QA methodology/framework evolution
_ Strives to maintain very high-quality standards for Amadeus products
offer
_ Contributes to patents and technical events with the QA area
_ Propose relevant KPI and ways of measuring them efficiently, for
both software deliverables and compliance with Amadeus quality
standards
* Building relations & Knowledge sharing
_ Coach / mentor team members on quality assurance skills, drive the
culture change towards professionalization
_ Provides guidance/direction/training and mentor less experienced QA
Engineers, Software Development Engineers and Product Definition
Analysts. Actively participates in the
construction/maintenance/application of the on-barding of new
colleagues
_ Provides technical consulting on automation issues, tools and
processes
_ Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills, as
well as excellent listening skills, to serve as lead conduit between
Software Development Engineers, Architects, Product Definition
Analysts, and with external and internal customers
Education
University degree or engineer school graduation
Experience
Experience on software development (SDL / XDLC) and test automation
Project coordination and solution deployment across organizations
