As DDMS & INNOVATION MANAGER , you will be in charge of supporting the team mission: “DRIVE AND SUPPORT T&L TEAMS TO ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE OFFERING KEY COMPETENCES AND ADDED VALUE BY PROVIDING HARMONIZED AND INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS, METHODS AND TOOLS”. As part of this team, you will be part of a multi-national and transversal environment and have your activities articulated around three pillars: * DDMS PROJECT LEADER DDMS is a company-wide transformation program, targeting a major efficiency breakthrough for a new program development with the help of the latest innovative processes, methods and tools. * LEAD INNOVATION WORK PACKAGE We always look for creative solutions and pragmatic ways of working to maximize value and optimize our internal and external operations (Logistics Service Providers). * LEAD DIGITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS We strive for continuous improvement and support our internal customers in delivering T&L digital operations. We learn from experience, challenge the status-quo and leverage best practices. RESPONSIBILITIES IF YOU BELIEVE THAT THIS JOB IS FOR YOU, THEN YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO: DDMS PROJECT LEADER * SUPPORT DDMS COMPANY-WIDE TRANSFORMATION PROGRAM * DEFINE DDMS STRATEGY FOR TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT * DEFINE RESOURCE NEEDS AND COORDINATE RESOURCE ALLOCATIONS * REPORT PROGRESS OF ACTIVITIES AND INCREASE AWARENESS OF DDMS USE CASES APPLICABLE TO TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS TEAMS * COORDINATE & NETWORK WITHIN DDMS COMMUNITY (OPERATIONS, PROCUREMENT, OTHER PROGRAMS) LEAD INNOVATION WORK PACKAGE * BOOST INNOVATION AND CREATE AN INNOVATION FUNNEL WITHIN TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT. * BENCHMARK NEW METHODS AND TOOLS IN THE AREA OF INNOVATION (INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY) AND ASSESS THEIR VALUE FOR AIRBUS DEFENCE AND SPACE AND IN PARTICULAR FOR THE TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT. * INCREASE INNOVATION AWARENESS AND SPREAD THE ADOPTION OF INNOVATION MINDSET ACROSS A TRANSNATIONAL NETWORK OF MULTI-DISCIPLINARY TEAMS * LEAD & SUPPORT INNOVATION INITIATIVES (IDEATION, INCUBATION AND TRANSITION), INCLUDING BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & STAKEHOLDER BUY-IN. * CO MMUNICATE & PROMOTE LARGELY AND LOCALLY TO ALL KEY STAKEHOLDERS ABOUT INNOVATION INITIATIVES. LEAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS LEAD DIGITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS * ASSESS THE CURRENT AS-IS SITUATION, INCLUDING MINDSET, BEHAVIOURS AND WAYS OF WORKING IN ORDER TO IDENTIFY PAIN POINTS OF T&L TEAMS * DEFINE THE TO-BE STRATEGY AND IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO BE ADDRESSED. * DEFINE COLLABORATIVELY WITH T&L TEAMS THE IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITIES , AND ACCOMPANY THEM IN THEIR DIGITAL IMPROVEMENT JOURNEY. * IMPLEMENT THE NECESSARY DIGITAL TRANSVERSAL PROJECTS AND TOOLS IN T&L TEAMS. * DETECT BEST PRACTICES AND SUPPORT THEIR DEPLOYMENT TO OTHER TEAMS. SKILLS IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE AND BELIEVE THIS JOB IS MADE FOR YOU, THEN YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY TO THIS VACANCY. MANDATORY SKILLS * Master degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics or industrial context * Project/Program Management Experience in a multi-national context * Excellent communication skills * Successful track record of leading improvements projects * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a multi-national context * Strong analytical, problem solving, planning skills & knowledge of business models * Proactivity, self-motivation, customer focused * Creativity and strong emotional intelligence * Fluent in English OPTIONAL SKILLS * Other spoken/written languages than English * Experience in Defence & Space or any similar industrial product development sector * Agile experience in one of the following framework: Lean, Scrum * Experience in collaborative tools to support agile ways of working: JIRA, Confluence This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
