Position Overview
The Marketing Manager in Southern Europe is responsible for raising
awareness of Piano and driving sales opportunities in the country
executing local marketing campaigns in Southern Europe that are
aligned to a global marketing strategy: such as executing local events
and conferences, local content, advertising, and partner marketing
plans, with a focus on Account-Based Marketing. The marketing manager
will need to be comfortable adapting content and digital strategy for
their region in partnership with global counterparts, with a high
degree of event management experience as a key driver of success.
What You'll Do
* Ensures successful research, planning, implementation, and
execution of regionalized, multi-channel, account-based marketing
campaigns, as defined by the strategic marketing plan
* Generates buy-in and support for marketing programs from local
sales team leads
* Works with sales and channel partners to drive key levers under
Account Based Marketing programs
* Works closely with sales development to target key accounts with
marketing programs
* Measures and reports on success of regional marketing programs and
events
* Responsible for the tactical implementation and orchestration of
the regions’ marketing programs, including: events, translations,
digital advertising, enablement and content distribution in alignment
with global branding, product marketing, digital marketing, content
marketing and marketing operations
* Assists in training internal teams, sales reps, and
customer-facing staff on regional marketing program
CONFERENCES. Manage our presence at regional conferences and events
we attend or sponsor. Review industry conferences and recommend
opportunities, manage logistics for booths, including staffing and
collateral. Secure speaking opportunities for Piano executives or our
clients. Maximize the value of each event before, during and after,
working with the sales team to manage communications with attendees,
generate leads, and produce social and press mentions for Piano. Align
with other regional marketing leads to ensure success of global events
Awards & Communications. Identify and execute local awards and PR
communications as-needed in sync with local marketing plans -
leveraging your counterparts in global PR to achieve successful win
rates and distribution
Content Marketing. Work closely with the content marketing team to
create and adapt thought leadership for your region, including
translations, and tying relevant awareness for local efforts, as well
as managing any needed translations, and, ensuring sales and BDR teams
are armed with the latest and greatest enablement tools
Digital. Work closely with the digital marketing team to execute
targeted ads and digital campaigns in tandem with other regional
marketing plans, as needed
Success measurement: Success in this role will be defined by the
ability to drive pipeline for your respective regions in collaboration
with business development and sales.
What you have
* 5+ years field marketing experience, preferably in the technology
and/or SaaS market
* Fluent in English and French, other languages a plus
* Deep event management experience, including sourcing, budgeting,
executing and measuring
* Experience within Account Based Marketing programs is a huge plus
* Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including
advertising, market research, technology and budgeting
* Proficient with marketing-related software programs such as
Salesforce, Pardot and other tools
* Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style
for interacting with team members, upper management and clients
* Time management and organization skills in order to plan and
execute both large and small marketing projects and initiatives
* Leadership skills to motivate team members and manage conflicts
* Analytical and problem-solving skills for coming up with ideas to
increase demand for products and services
