ERP Technical Manager for AX Dynamics X++

POSITION: ERP Technical Manager for AX Dynamics X++ JOB DESCRIPTION: ABOUT THE ROLE _ You will join and manage a technical team of software developers and DBAs responsible for developing and deploying bug patches for production defects within the Dynamics AX environment. On a daily basis your team will provide proactive monitoring of system health and performance, identify and implement system improvements, provide ITIL based tier 3 level technical support for users of the EMEA Dynamics AX system._ DevOps ERP Technical Manager for AX Dynamics X++ at Arrow typically focuses on: * Managing all prod and non-prod code deployments for Dynamics AX * Administer and enhance code deployment automation * Delivering DBA services for the EMEA Dynamics AX environment (SQL Server) * Providing system health and performance monitoring at the server, SQL and application levels * Part of the ITIL tier 3 level technical support for Dynamics AX ERP environment * Creating and maintenance of non-production Dynamics AX environments * Managing code base repository and all branching and merging activity for all the Dynamics AX environments * Maintenance and testing of ERP DR plan * Defining and assigning task level deliverables also creating and maintaining work plans for team members * Conducting performance reviews of team members and identifying areas of improvement, give feedback and recommend for promotions or salary increments * Interviewing candidates and hire resources as needed A FEW THINGS YOU’RE AN EXPERT AT * Dynamics AX 2012 R3 architecture. * SQL Server * Troubleshooting, software development processes * Understanding and implementing customer requirements * Performance monitoring and tuning techniques * Building and a managing multi-national virtual teams is a plus * ITIL foundations and certifications desired * Microsoft Team Foundation Server, experience in code base management * Being escalation point for on call support team members YOUR EXPERIENCE * Position typically requires 6 years of DevOps experience within a Microsoft Dynamics AX environment * Position typically requires 3 years of direct IT team management experience WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT ARROW, CHECK OUT THESE SHORT VIDEOS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GNrC3gVR7RM https://www.youtube.com/user/ArrowFiveYearsOut https://www.fiveyearsout.com/ LOCATION: UK-United Kingdom - Remote TIME TYPE: Full time JOB CATEGORY: Information Technology
