Research Scientist/ Principal Engineer-Technology Exploration

. PURPOSE Explore emerging technologies and ensure Amadeus leadership in research and innovation. Ensure Amadeus brings to market innovative solutions for all businesses and BUs KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES CONCEPTS, VISION AND INNOVATION * Influence on business vision and product roadmap decisions, by proposing value-adding modules and features leveraging new technologies and concepts. * Be a source of ideas for market-leading, client-oriented, value-add product innovation * Lead emerging technology exploration and identify what can be leveraged and add value for Amadeus SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT * Technical lead of prototype developments and beta products covering large technology spectrum and business * Coordinate the mentioned projects with other R&D and Marketing divisions as needed * Drive and articulate software architecture consistently with project objectives and context * Ensure the adoption and implementation of the best standards of software development.
