JOB DESCRIPTION
MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES
Within the Intelligence Commercial department; the Commercial &
Contracts Manager will be in charge of:
* Commercial department activities and tasks on various projects of
Airbus Defence and Space, Business Line "Intelligence & Security
Solutions"
* Supporting the sales, bid and project manager on all commercial
matters as required.
MISSION
The Commercial & Contracts Manager is in charge of providing his/her
expertise for the preparation, negotiation and management of all
commercial commitments of the Intelligence & Security Solutions'
projects and business at all stages from initiation (Bid/ No-Bid, RFP
evaluation, proposal/ bidding, contract drafting and negotiation,
closing, amending, managing conflicts and problems during performance
of contract at prime and subcontract level, conflicts) to program end.
KEY TASKS
1. Bids & Proposals:
* be the focal point for the other departments and functions involved
in the offer preparation (Finance, Legal, Compliance, Offset, Taxes,
etc..);
* review of the non-technical part of RFPs;
* assess the commercial, Financial and export control risks;
* prepare the pricing and financial provisions of the proposals
(payment terms, LDs, penalties, bonds and guarantees, contingencies,
project profitability calculations, cash curves etc.);
* prepare the documentation related to commercial aspects for
internal review meetings;
* negotiate the commercial aspects of the proposal with customers;
* ensure consistency of final contract with initial offer;
* optimize the Terms and Conditions.
2. Contracts & Agreements:
* Define the contractual structure for complex projects;
* review and revise the contracts and agreements proposed by the
Customer and by third parties;
* advise internally on interpretation of contracts and agreements;
* issue the commercial guidelines and principles.
3. Contracts Management & Administration:
* manage and administrate the contracts in force;
* monitor the contractual obligations performance;
* manage the contract change notices and amendments;
* manage (together with other functions) the resolution of claims.
The position is based in Toulouse.
COMMERCIAL & CONTRACTS MANAGER PROFILE
* Education
o Business School ideally with contractual education or experience; or
o Legal or Finance Master Degree and commercial education or
experience.
* Experience : > 10 years
o Export experience is a strong plus
o Experience in international taxes mechanism, offset, export
control… is a strong plus as well.
* Personal Skills:
o Customer relationship;
o Autonomy and capacity synthesis and analysis;
o Team working;
o Good negotiation capability;
o Excellent English spoken and written; Spanish or any other language
as a plus
o Excel, Word skills.
