It develops high-performance and innovative lighting and wiping systems that accompany the driver and passengers in all weather conditions, day and night, and in their various activities on board the vehicle. We are looking for a Platform Buyer F/H for this site. YOUR CHALLENGES? * As a member of the platform project team, you will lead the sourcing process from project initiation (or CCP stage) to completion of PQA milestones. * You will lead complex and strategic procurement activities involving multiple international locations to achieve the technical and economic objectives assigned to the program itself for all entities involved. * You participate in project meetings and activities (project initiation, procurement plan, technical steering committee, project management committee) for the platform and participate in pre-commission and platform purchasing committee decisions with the local project buyer. * You are the link between the projects and the commodity network and define the procurement strategy for the platform. * You support business acquisition: RFI, RFQ, including anticipation of large customer RFQs. * You participate in the construction and validation of all CAAs for the platform's RFQs and RFIs. * You ensure a competitive pricing roadmap for key technologies and are responsible for the platform's purchasing KPIs. * You anticipate and inform the commodity network of the future platform roadmap and potential new technology and purchasing requirements that arise from it. * You conduct advanced market research for technologies not yet covered by the commodity network expertise, establishing a clear technology and pricing roadmap. * You involve the segment manager (or group segment director) at the appropriate time to share project constraints and propose a sourcing strategy in line with the group segment strategy. * You ensure early integration of suppliers into projects and alignment between project requirements and SoCo milestones and constraints. * You drive the integration of suppliers into projects to optimize material QCDI and non-recurring costs and ensure the deployment of the commodity strategy for its own local projects. * You assess the risk impact of the suppliers pre-selected on the platform in terms of development or production capacity, technical capability or quality, financial viability. * You are in charge of putting suppliers in competition with at least two suppliers of the same technical level and proceed with all negotiations to ensure the success of the RFQ and/or auction process. ABOUT YOU: You have a minimum of 3 years experience in purchasing. You have a Graduate Degree (engineer or master) with a strong interest for the technical environment Your English must be fluent You have good organizational and time management skills, the ability to persuade, excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation skills IN ADDITION: You are fluent in Spanish.
