JOB SUMMARY:
Can you imagine fully autonomous car driving you safely every day? We
are implementing this for the industry equipment running autonomously
all around the world. Your curiosity, passion and skills in computer
science, engineering and in mathematics will help invent, design, and
apply technology to improve the oil and gas industry performance.
You will be in charge of developing new algorithms for several
Schlumberger Digital platforms, focusing overall on automation and
Data Science appliance. We are working with some of the largest
amounts of data, streamed in Real-Time from remote locations to
offices and to the cloud.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
You will have a chance to work with massive datasets, trying to find
patterns in data and applying all the best of Data Science to enable
automatic computations in Real-Time. As a Data Science intern, you
will work in an autonomous manner, supported by domain experts and
software engineering team. You will communicate on a daily basis with
a large engineering community in Europe, US and Asia.

QUALIFICATION:
* Penultimate or final year
COMPETENCIES:
* Passionate about statistics, mathematics, visualization,
programming
* Perfection in optimization, doing more with less simpler code
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Python or Matlab
* Organized, methodic, punctional
* Good English communication skills
* Microsoft .NET/C++ knowledge is a plus
