A typical day in this Sourcer role will include: * Establishing and maintaining relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of hiring needs * Performing searches for qualified candidates using computer database, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media and employee referrals * Interviewing applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills * Preparing and maintaining employment records. As a flexible Sourcer, you will primarily be sourcing software developers in core programming and functional languages or hiring technical product teams, so knowledge of the tech industry would be ideal. A Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent training is required, along with knowledge of business and management principles involved in key planning.
