#resourcingtheworld_ Job Description Biothane has been awarded a pilot
trial on site for F&B company in France. We are looking for an eager
engineer or technician to be the on-site operator of our revolutionary
pilot plant. The aim is to perform a 4 months continuous trial with a
Sparthane (AnMBR) technology aiming to secure a full-scale plant
project. Pilot plant is monitored on a daily basis by an expert team
in Delft via Team Viewer. Candidate will be trained for VCA (safe work
on site), basic sample analysis and pilot operation & maintenance. The
candidate will be managed remotely by Biothane R&D on daily basis with
strict in/out of site control and daily calls and meetings for update
and toolbox meeting. A process expert who will visit the site every
2-3 weeks. Intern will report daily to a client assigned officer for
safety and compliance matters. Main tasks: comprise general operation
of pilot plant (guided remotely by Biothane R&D team), sampling,
analysis and data update and general troubleshooting of pilot plant.
Work is for 40 hrs per week. PERIOD: 4 months min (longer depending on
outcome and agreement) - To start immediately Qualifications *
Flexibility, willingness and proactiveness * Pilot Technician,
Research Engineer or Process /Chemical/Environmental/ Civil
Engineering degree, preferably knowledge or affinity for wastewater
treatment and or environmental bioprocesses (Anaerobic digestion) as
well as applied research. * Practical skills with laboratory / applied
research skills (or interest to learn this * Creative thinking and
problem solving attitude Additional Information * English – Fluent
