Software Development Engineer Configuration Frameworks and Data Distribution

BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT The Configuration Frameworks and Data Distribution (CFD) department plays a key role in TPE organization, focusing on Configuration Frameworks (Business Rules Engines, Application Settings and Feature Flags), Data Distribution (Internal and External) and SLA/Billing. Within this department, the Data Distribution Frameworks (DDF) team provides two Platforms that are used for External Data Distribution (i.e. secure data exchange between internal and external parties through various channels – SFTP, HTTP, Secured URL, Secured Portal, etc...): * FTPHub, specialized in Inbound and Outbound SFTP * Amadeus Data Distribution Suite (ADDS), providing a futureproof generic Platform allowing a smoother integration of External Data Distribution use cases thanks to standardized interfaces (Self Service API, native connectivity to Object Store technologies, etc…) PURPOSE File Transfers are at the heart of our business, from files received from other GDS, to “application to application” file sharing, to invoices and reports sent to our various customers and partners… With this in mind, and driven by a strong will to provide a futureproof Self-service Platform, the Amadeus Data Distribution Suite (ADDS) was born, encompassing both Legacy Data Distributions channels (such as SFTP) and elegant new channels (Cloud Service Providers Object Storage, secured URLs, …). In a matter of years, it evolved from a Finance-focused platform to a Global platform handling millions of file transfers per day. As part of the acceleration of ADDS and the change of paradigm introduced by the Cloud, we must make the ADDS evolve; This will be done by both going to the next level in terms of Self-Serviceability (to empower our BU colleagues and allow them a smoother onboarding within the ADDS) and gradually making our platform fully Cloud-native, leveraging key components of the Amadeus Cloud Platforms and working closely with them to tackle the challenges that come with such high volumes. Key accountabilities * Participate to the technical design and implementation of new features * Develop software according to Amadeus guidelines and highest quality standards * Implement and automate the appropriate level of testing to ensure maintaining high level of quality * Participate to the validation phase, and provide support to QA teams * Ensure the sustainable evolution of the software architecture * Communicate and collaborate in a open and constructive manner with all the stakeholders (PDA, QA, Management, PO, train leaders…) * Produce software documentation necessary for the application usage and support * Support the end users in production by performing the appropriate level of investigation in case of issues and propose solutions in the shortest possible timeframe EDUCATION University degree in Computer Sciences, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience.
