Global Markets overview
Nomura's Global Markets business facilitates client transactions for a
diverse group of institutions including corporations, governments and

Nomura Alternative Investment Management (France) S.A.S ("NAIM") is an
investment management company of the Nomura group. Based in Paris,
NAIM is regulated by the AMF and offers expertise in fund structuring,
portfolio management, risk management. It aims to develop and manage
best-in-class quantitative funds focusing on alternative risk premia,
a fast-growing sector of the Asset Management industry. NAIM
implements quantitative and systematic investment processes using
passive liquid quantitative investment strategies (“QIS”).
NAIM implements investment solutions for investors and managers in
various formats:

Programme overview
Internships are a great opportunity to experience first-hand the
possibilities of a career in banking. It is your chance to get a feel
for our culture, create new networks and gain valuable on-the-job
training.
This is an opportunity to work with NAIM team in Paris for a period of
6 months, to access portfolio managers, middle office and get a 360
insight into a quantitative asset management platform with an
entrepreneurial spirit.
Candidates applying to this vacancy must be a fluent or a French
native speaker.
Your role
This role sits within NAIM, providing support to the Middle Office
team, the Portfolio Management team and the overall Funds business.
The Middle Office works closely with the Portfolio Managers and all
other support functions to enable the business to grow in a controlled
environment.
* Middle Office main activities:
* Support the team on daily activities : reconciliation of bookings
with fund accounts and reviewing failed settlement reports, resolution
of booking issues, reconciliation and settlement breaks,
* Processes fund invoices,
* Preparing funds reportings,
* Updating Fund Marketing Materials.
* Portfolio Management main activities:
* Support portfolio management function for the daily process:
portfolio exposure and risk monitoring, order preparation, cash
management,
* Investigate and resolve on-demand queries from Portfolio Managers,
* Support the overall efforts of the business for communications
(data analysis, performance and risk calculation, performance
attribution) and internal processes as required
* You may also be involved in some tasks and projects to assist other
areas.

The perfect candidate will also be a French native speaker, with a
