Description
Date: 22/12/2021 Reporting to the Operations Director and the
Operations Project Manager (Intern Supervisor) the Airside Operations
Intern will undertake a key project: Context VINCI Airports strives
for operational excellence with high levels of productivity and
efficiency across its global network of airports without compromising
safety and security. This proposed internship consists of a main
project - The review of Key Airside Operations Services (KAOS) across
the VINCI Network. With support, the intern may work on activities
related to on-going medium and long-term projects in areas including
(but not limited to): Business Continuity Management, Integrated Risk
Management, Drones, Safety Management System Development and review
and analysis of key performance indicators for Safety and Security.
All with a scope covering the VINCI Airports Network AIRSIDE
OPERATIONS REVIEW Airside Operations may include but are not limited
to the following Key Airside Operations Services (KAOS): * Rescue and
Fire Fighting Services (RFFS) * Medical services (where required –
ambulances and medical staff) * Wildlife Management * Airside Ops
VINCI Airports requires an Intern to play a lead role in the delivery
of the following key project objectives. Phase 1 1. Review the KAOS
across the network to record, understand, analyse and compare how
these Services are delivered 2. Review industry best practices for the
delivery of these KAOS and compare with the VINCI network approach.
This should include the use of tools and technologies 3. Identify
examples of organisations (VINCI and other) that implement
Multi-Skilling - Where employees carry out roles and responsibilities
across two or more KAOS or across Services outside the scope of
Airside Services e.g. RFFS personnel carrying out hold baggage loading
/ unloading 4. Identify key challenges and experiences from the VINCI
network in the process of implementing the organisational structures
and the delivery of these KAOS Phase 2 5. For airports selected after
Phase 1, consider and propose options to improve the productivity and
efficiency of the delivery of the KAOS. The position may require
visits to agreed VINCI Airports. Profil * Generalist, Civil,
Electro-mechanical, Industrial graduate, preferably
aviation/aeronautical Graduate Engineer with high interest in airport
projects and airport operations. * Responsible for overseeing the
successful completion of projects tasks. * Knowledge of airport
operations and airports in general is an advantage. * Willingness to
work in an international, multi-cultural, transversal (Operation,
technical, maintenance,…) and business oriented context Required
skills: * Rigor and developed communication/coordination skills. *
Outgoing, endowed with recognized relational qualities; * Strong
leadership, autonomy, proactivity * Team player and self‐motivated /
‘can-do’ attitude * Ability to convey, assimilate and summarise
technical contents, project outcome and results internally or
externally; to colleagues, clients or other stakeholders, in the form
of reports or presentations. * Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and
Word. Competent in Teams and Outlook * Language: Fluent English
(mandatory, written and spoken), French (optional). Most of the
discussions and documents will be in English. 6-month internship
