OUR EXCITING OPPORTUNITY The Network Performance and Evolution team in Ericsson´s Market Area Europe and Latin America supports mobile network operators with the analysis and advice to position themselves as network performance leaders. The team consists of world class presales specialists working as a flat and highly collaborative organization. We are in the forefront both in terms of technology, e.g. how to deploy 5G, and use of advanced analytics to generate valuable insights for our customers. We are looking for an upbeat hardworking individual eager to support our specialists to drive the network evolution and technology strategy engagements with multiple operators in the Europe/Latine America area through Analytics and data mining in the sake of generating customized studies. You seek out a first experience (internship / alternation) which would allow you to Apply your knowledge in statistical modeling and data science, and add value to the overall regional analytics tool being developed by the team? Are you the one ! WHAT YOU WILL DO * Value all the data to extract useful knowledge for the support of our customers engagement, decision making in sales and technical marketing and push. * Conduct quantitative analyses to monitor activity and propose innovative approaches to build new analytical/statistical models that make the best use of data sources and technological solutions in the field of Data Science. * Take part of the design and production of dashboards of network & performances information * Create performance indicators and monitoring of our clients' activities technological choices and assets, based on the appropriate data types and statistical methods * Carry out ad hoc statistical studies on key trends * Propose new methods of analysis and new tools in order to improve existing processes or create new ones * Monitor customer engagements and feedback to improve the quality of the dashboards and build/derive new Analytics * Analyze technology solution that enhances the customer's competitive position through network performance modeling (simulations) of advanced technology such as Massive MIMO and 5G-NR deployment considerations YOU WILL BRING * A Higher education type engineering school or master degree (or equivalent in university) with a specialization in statistics / data science * Ideally Data analytics and programming skills (Microsoft Excel, Visual Basic, MySQL, Java, C/C++, Matlab, Tableau, R, Power BI, Python linear programming and predictive analysis) * Good presentation skills * A consultative approach always seeking for a phenomenal outcome for everyone with customer and internally * A creative and solution oriented approach * The ability to simplify complex matters while not neglecting important details * A good technical English both written and oral * A strong cultural awareness and excellent interpersonal communications and networking skills * Good time planning skills * A good understanding of radio access network technology is a plus WHY JOIN ERICSSON?
