coherence of the strategies, the consistency of the commercial

Defining and coordinating Group policies, different transversal
projects and standards, identifying and sharing best practices. *
Supporting the entities in order to help them to grow, to develop
their offer, their management and steering standards as well as their
risk management. The head office of AXA Group (GIE AXA), based in La
Défense, gathers the Group's corporate activities. It coordinates the
various entities according to the Group's strategy and is responsible
for managing international projects. The headquarters is composed with
over 1000 employees and is distinguished by its strong international
culture (45 nationalities). MANAGEMENT PRESENTATION : The
headquarters’ Chief Compliance Officer (who is also the AXA Group
Anti-Bribery Officer) has responsibilities to manage and monitor an
adequate and efficient compliance programme to comply with compliance
laws and regulations and AXA Standards. To deliver this programme, the
GIE AXA Chief Compliance Officer works with a headquarters’
Compliance Analyst. The new French Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC)
regulatory environment (Sapin II Law, French Anti-Bribery Agency’s
guidelines and controls) has dramatically evolved. It impacts AXA in
all operations worldwide including the headquarters. Penalties for
non-compliance with this new French regulatory environment has
increased financial impacts, with significant damage to AXA’s
reputation and brand. MAIN PURPOSE : In this context, the team is
looking for an Apprentice to assist them in maintaining and developing
the headquarters’ compliance programme by creating and updating
compliance policies, procedures, processes and controlling/monitoring
their implementation to reduce compliance risks identified and
assessed notably through the Compliance risk Assessment and
Anti-Bribery & Corruption Risk Assessment. CORE ACTIVITIES :
Regulatory monitoring * Monitor ABC regulatory developments
specifically from Sapin II Law and the ones regarding the French
enforcement body called AFA (i.e. AFA Guidelines, AFA Sanctions
Committee, etc.) Policies and process * Produce and update compliance
policies, procedures and processes to mitigate the identified
compliance risks * Assist in the preparation of Compliance Risk
Assessment and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) Risk Assessment and
follow-up of remediation action plans * Assist in the preparation and
delivery of specific controls on the 1st line of defence (Human
Resources, Procurement, etc.) and via Compliance Internal Control
framework (quarterly assessment within the Scala tool) * Maintain Gift
and Entertainment Register with associated Key Performance Indicators
(KPIs) * Review and perform compliance due diligence processes
(World-Check screening) – checking that all payees, vendors etc. are
screened notably against government prescribed lists and negative
media reports Raise awareness * Help to deliver a training programme
to raise awareness of headquarters’ employees on compliance topics *
Develop dynamic and impactful communication materials (i.e. prepare
Corruption Day) Optimization and digitization * Participate in a
constant improvement of ABC program, especially regarding its
digitization and the automation of manual processes * Assist on
project management tasks to digitize the Gift and Entertainment
process and register * Digitize further the Certification to Ethics
codes’ process * Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and a
Compliance Dashboard to communicate on Compliance team’s performance
AFA inspection visits * Prepare documentation in case of potential AFA
inspection visits VOTRE PROFIL TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS : *
Fluent in English and French * Academic background in compliance-legal
/ risk * Digital savvy COMMUNICATION SKILLS : The role requires strong
written and verbal communication skills (French and English), close
attention to detail, prioritize work effectively, planning and
organizational skills, interpersonal and team working skills.
