CONTEXT While moving to the public cloud, the logging solution is being re-invented around Splunk, one of the leading industry solutions for collecting and analyzing data coming from various sources. Do you know that Amadeus applications are generating 3 petabytes of logs every day? This is making us the top Splunk customer! Logs being of vital importance for our internal customers investigation and mean time to recover reduction, we need you to join us to build a cost conscious, automated, scalable, and resilient logging solution based on the Splunk Kubernetes operator. Log collection or extracting value out of the logs in Splunk are as well part of our mission which makes the logging journey to the cloud a rich and diverse one. Role The ideal logging DevOps candidate should have knowledge or be interested in Kubernetes, automation, and Observability. In a technological landscape evolving fast, the candidate should have a strong DevOps mindset, enjoy learning and using the latest technologies. Being a DevOps, GO language is nearby, typically in the Splunk Kubernetes Operator. Same for python which is present in the ecosystem so experience in either python or GO coding would be a plus. The ability to take a step back, think about the customer's need and how logging fits in the global cloud design is also important to influence the logging deployment model and services. In a multi-cultural Agile team in SAFe, solid communication skills to interact with other DevOps, the Scrum-master, the product owner, management, and all other stakeholders are also key to being successful. Amadeus having partnered with Microsoft, the main public cloud provider on which the logging stack is deployed is Azure so having knowledge or experience in MS Azure would also be a plus. SKILLS Interest in observability and logging Kubernetes, HELM Automation (Jenkins, ArgoCD, terraform, Ansible..)
