Today, Dataiku provides extensive features to visually analyze a model's behavior: explaining individual predictions, comparing the model on various subpopulations, and against various measures of fairness… However, we believe there remains an opportunity to empower our users with more capabilities, in order to deliver transparent and robust models: further improving our explainability suite, and providing better and/or new ways to interrogate & mitigate unwanted bias throughout the model development lifecycle. The OBJECTIVE OF THE INTERNSHIP is to improve and add to our visualization capabilities for machine learning models interpretability and responsibility. AFTER A PERIOD OF ONBOARDING, YOU WILL: * GET FAMILIAR with Dataiku's machine learning capabilities, the various visualizations used for models interpretability and responsibility, visualization libraries like D3.js and ECharts * SUGGEST enhancements for existing and/or new visualization capabilities for model interpretability and responsibility, and prioritize them. * e.g. we are transitioning some of our visualizations from D3.js to ECharts * IMPLEMENT one or more visualization enhancements in our front-end code base, with additional improvements in the back-end if necessary. * CELEBRATE AND PARTY because our beloved users can now enjoy even more insights into their models!
