REQ ID: 7133 JOB FAMILY: Trainees LOCATION: Monaco Office, MC ADDITIONAL LOCATION: SUBJECT: IDENTIFICATION OF ZONE OF INTEREST FOR FLOATING OFFSHORE WIND FARMS USING CONSTRAINT MAPPING ANALYSES SBM Offshore has been developing wave energy and floating wind solutions for over 15 years. More recently, SBM made a strategic move to enter the project development phase and develop its own floating wind projects worldwide. SBM currently has a multi-GW portfolio of floating offshore wind projects under development and is seeking to evaluate opportunities to expand in new geographies. Project development is at the top of the value-chain and the successful identification of the right project area is critical to a successful project. Your work will consist of building methodologies and tools to be used for helping the project development team to identify zones of interest for floating offshore wind farms. You will identify data requirements, identify the relevant databases, build data processing pipelines, test different methodologies and metrics and finally identify the best zones.
