Job Description:
A vacancy for the Head of Regulatory intelligence and services
position has arisen with Airbus SAS in Toulouse. You will join the
Sustainability & Environment department (GS) and take the lead of the
Regulatory intelligence and services team (GSR).
In this position you will be directly connected to the company’s
priorities in terms of Sustainability & Environment strategic
objectives. You will be at the heart of the management of the
Sustainability & Environment compliance, in link with multiple
stakeholders in the Company.
The Regulatory intelligence & services team’s main mission is to
guide Airbus business to comply with applicable and upcoming
requirements, to take into consideration the trends, and to run the
Enterprise Risk Management system in the field of Environment and
Sustainability. The activities of the team require various
interactions with different functions, countries, divisions, in a
multicultural environment.
This position reports directly to the HO Sustainability & Environment
(GS).
Tasks & accountabilities:
The Head of Regulatory Intelligence and Services has the
responsibility to lead the regulatory intelligence and risks &
opportunity processes and associated team, as part of the broader
Sustainability & Environment (S&E) organisation and network.
Responsibilities:

Lead the team composed of several specialists in S&E matters,
ensuring appropriate resources allocation to existing and emerging
topics, while prioritizing on strategic S&E subjects for the Company
*
Lead regulatory intelligence network across the Company functions,
countries, divisions
*
Co-lead improvement project in the field of sustainability &
environment regulatory intelligence and compliance (eg. implementation
and deployment of FISH Regulatory module)
*
Act as Airbus External Requirements Representative for environment
and sustainability regulations
*
Lead the regulatory intelligence process
*
Ensure appropriate identification, analysis and communication of
regulatory requirements to relevant functions and roadmaps
*
Ensure appropriate communication of mid / long-term regulatory trends
outlook in the Company, supporting strategic decision making
*
Represent Airbus in relevant external forums (e.g. trade
associations, regulatory working groups) in the development of
regulations to secure Airbus business interests
*
Act as ERM officer for environment and sustainability
*
Lead the deployment of the ERM process in the sustainability and
environment perimeter
*
Ensure coordination of ERM process with the Divisions
This position requests external representation activities in trade
associations, depending on the regulatory context and the business
needs, in coordination with the Airbus Public Affairs network as
necessary.
Expected background & competences
*
Master’s degree level (or equivalent) in Environment /
Sustainability / Corporate social responsibility / Legal
*
Management experience
*
Strong experience in sustainability and environment and regulatory
affairs in industrial context
*
Strong knowledge and practice of the EU regulatory process and
International context
*
Knowledge of Aerospace industry context and supply chain
Soft skills

Interpersonal and leadership skills

Organizational skills,
*
Very good analytical and synthetical skills
*
Capacity to deal with various and complex subjects and set priorities

Excellent writing and speaking communication skills
