PRODUCT MANAGER, INFUSION - FRANCE

_REPORTING TO PMLS MARKETING MANAGER, FRANCE_
Infusion Product Management support the growth of Patient Monitoring
and Life Support (PMLS) business. In this role, you will work closely
with the Sales Representative on global territory and support the
sales process by medical device demonstration, project management and
marketing support. Developing and increasing efficiency on global
territory for dedicated infusion, you manage the product and marketing
approach together to consolidate PMLS strategy. In collaboration with
PMLS Marketing Manager for France, you define the infusion strategy
and tools to support Sales / CAS.
Supporting strategic demonstrations and business opportunities with
your knowledge of infusion inside ICU and Anaesthesia application, you
will focus on infusion application by Product management (e/n-Series);
you create the link with HQ to follow / recommend and support in real
time product / software and trends. You report to PMLS Marketing
Manager in France and form part of the PMLS Marketing European team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Determines customers' needs and desires by specifying the research
needed to obtain market information.
* Recommends the nature and scope of present and future product lines
by reviewing product specifications and requirements, appraising new
product ideas and/or product or packaging changes.
* Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to
competitors' products.
* Provides source data for product line communications by defining
product marketing communication objectives.
* Obtains product market share by working with Sales Director to
develop product sales strategies (direct/indirect).
* Assesses product market data by calling on customers with field
salespeople and evaluating sales call results.
* Provides information for management by preparing short-term and
long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analysis,
answering questions and requests.
* Facilitates inventory turnover and product availability by
reviewing and adjusting inventory demonstration levels schedule.
* Brings new products to market by analysing proposed product
requirements and product development programs, preparing
return-on-investment analyses.
* Introduces and markets new products by developing time-integrated
plans with sales, advertising, and production.
* Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data;
reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing
special.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN YOU?
* Substantial experience of working for a competitor in an infusion
business ideal OR proven infusion knowledge, more importantly to
understand how infusion works in a Patient Monitoring and Life Support
environment, not just infusion experience!
* Proven experience of trend analysis and segmentation, optimisation
and how all products are connected (monitoring, infusion, ventilators
etc) – whilst you can have experience in various areas, your highest
skills will be in infusion
* Fluent in French and English – both written and spoken
* Ability to work in the country for which you are applying without
the requirement of company sponsorship
* Ambitious and looking to drive your career forward at pace
* The ability to travel is required.
