Internship in Platform Finance (M/W)

Within the finance team, your objectives will be to help the platform to validate its Gross Margin targets per product through in-depth analysis of Production Costs and Market prices. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MISSION: YOU WILL BE IN CHARGE OF THE FOLLOWING MISSIONS: PROGRAM REVIEW BOARDS (PRBS): Asses & challenge GM considered in Business Cases for future opportunities to come based on projects Rex, competitivity Rex and unit cost. PRODUCTION COSTS: Assess and track unit production costs per product based on volumes and learning curves T ENDERS: Based on projects REX, support loop back Actual production costs versus Reference Library analysis to improve costing accuracy at tender stage Liaise with Market and Portfolio to put into perspective Market Prices evolution and compare it with the pace the platform’s production costs decrease Support the tenders’ check list process elaboration & implementation to ease the financial costing validation of/for the validators Challenge the platforms on Ref Lib costing updates following portfolio’s PPI evolution analysis PROFILE: EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: Master Finance / Business school TECHNICAL SKILLS: Good Excel skills, General Proficiency of other Office applications, Good knowledge of accounting and financial processes, fluent in English (written and spoken), Analysis Skills BEHAVIORAL SKILLS: Curious, striving to learn & develop, Good interpersonal skills, Capacity to communicate and listen, Ability to evolve in an international environment CONTRACT : 6 months as of february-22 Alstom is the leading company in the mobility sector, solving the most interesting challenges for tomorrow’s mobility.
