SUMMARY:
This Internship gives you a chance to work in the Digital Cinema
Server team with the latest generation Digital Cinema projectors,
evaluate solutions for high-speed data transmission to the projector.
Develop advanced signal integrity simulations to guide the hardware
development by predicting the behavior of the hardware designs under
consideration.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In the first phase, you will analyze electrical signal integrity using
tools such as Mentor Hyperlinx, SiSoft, and Intel ICAT, and create
simulation projects to support the hardware development. You will work
in collaboration with the hardware team to confirm the quality,
robustness and reliability of the hardware implementation based on
those SI simulations.
In the second phase, you will assist the hardware design of a test
circuit board by performing system-level hardware analysis of the
schematic designs to validate the signal integrity across the
interaction of the system components.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Working towards a Master’s degree in Electronics or a related
field;
* Strong knowledge of hardware design, high speed interfaces and
signal integrity.
* Knowledge about the Hyperlinx SI tool would be a plus.
* A good level of English language is beneficial.
